It in my opinion, is not appropriate to be played in the mass, The author, an English Anglican clergyman John Newton, was previously a slave trader who converted to become an abolitionist in 1755. The hymn spread through the the Protestant United States and is still entrenched in American religious and secular musical culture. Newton’s life journey is one from atheism, cynicism, slave ship sailor, to an Augustinesque conversion by 1780. The hymn became a staple of Protestant denominations during the Second Great Awakening-an American spiritual revival of Baptist, Adventists, Dispensationalists and Latter Day Saints. The hymn is thus protestant historical event, coming churches in opposition to catholic authority and theology.

I would to buy the chord but i dont know where..my name is filomena and what i know is my father named me after his dead sister .i saw the novena in youtube last couple of months and i have been doing it since. Thank you for your video.i just dont know if ill be able yo see your reply

Saint Bernadette is even now alive in her heavenly body which is different from her incorruptible earthly body on view to the public in Nevers. This heavenly body is able to descend to earth as she had done when I visited on pilgrimage! (God's ways are actually quite remarkable and it's true what they say in the Holy Bible - beyond the mind of man are His abilities and Powers!). Although this is heavenly travel, it is comparable to physical earthly travel "directly" to a place in moments even on or from earth to another place while the body remains where it is ! Thus at Nevers, I truly saw the risen Saint Bernadette so to speak, as she probably had formerly seen Our Lady of Lourdes i.e. as she was "invisible" to everyone else! (Maybe also comparative to the lines like the "immortal and invisible God"). Anyway, this testimony of the risen Saint Bernadette is true! Thus God proves she really is "immortal!" Amen.😘😇💖

Who's also working today!!!! I prayed and ask her to help my friend, who has left by his girlfriend. He was really sad, and when I prayed I said 'Please St. Philomena, make him happy!' A day after I talked with him, and when I asked how was he, he replyed "I am happy!" It takes a week for me to realise actually what happened! Thank you, St. Philomena, Thank you my God!
